Key Characteristics: It is a hybrid between Magnolia champaca and Magnolia Montana. Tree growing up to 17 m tall, with grey bark. Flowers fragrant. Tepals 10, white, lance shaped. Young twigs and buds are densely pale yellowish white puberulous, trichomes gradually deciduous with age.
